What's on at Irby library

All other events have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

FOIL host a variety of community events every week and are always looking for ideas from the local community. Let us know in the box at the bottom of this page if you'd like to suggest any events that we can provide.

We currently host free coffee mornings every first Thursday of the month. Every second Wednesday of the month we host a free dementia friendly 'Memories' afternoon tea where we always provide entertainment, such as vocalists, guitarists, choirs and more. These are always popular and everyone enjoys our delicious traditional cakes, teas and coffees.

Every Friday our ICT volunteer is on hand to help you with your computer, phone or tablet issues. Just bring your own device and we're happy to help. The library has free WiFi, so it's easy to connect to broadband while you're here. We also have public computers, so we can help you on those too!

Love to read? We have a book group every last Thursday of the month in the evening, so you'll be able to talk about the latest read with other likeminded bookworms.

Every Tuesday afternoon we provide storytime and arts'n'crafts for children.
